Colony 337 successfully lauched live to world late yesterday, on New Year's Eve, 2007.

This project took a lot longer to get out of development than it should have. I was beginning to think it would be a "permanent" hidden side project that no one else would ever see. But it's here now. And it's got active players.

Colony 337 is a turn-based, web-based MMORPG and MMORTS game of robot combat. It has an AJAX-based interface, so it requires Javascript to play. And it's free. More information is on the home page of the site, and on the wiki's New Player Welcome page.

I wrote this game for a number of reasons. One of the main reasons is that this is a game I wanted to play myself! But these sorts of game work best and are the most fun only when there's lots of other player. So please join in and let's have fun together.
